I have to admit I howled when I first heard that Drew Barrymore was playing Little Edith Beale in the feature adaptation of one of the best documentaries ever made. And although I have a Jessica Lange fetish I also wasn't convinced that she was right as Big Edith Bouvier Beale. But you know what? I was once wrong before and I may have been wrong again.
